MC / Temporary Disablement Benefit
If an employee receives a Medical Certificate (MC) of at least 4 days (including the date of the accident), they are entitled to daily temporary
disablement benefits. This is not simply your salary divided by 31 days. PERKESO uses an assumed wage schedule to calculate the daily rate.
The daily benefit rate is determined by PERKESO’s assumed wage schedule, not a simple salary ÷ 31 days calculation. Always refer to the official schedule.
Permanent Disablement & Family / Dependants’ Benefit
For more serious outcomes, LINDUNG 24 Jam provides monthly ongoing support, not just a one-time payout. Benefits depend on age, wage category, and the disability percentage assessed by a PERKESO Medical Board.
Medical & Rehabilitation Support
Beyond financial benefits, LINDUNG 24 Jam also covers a broad range of medical treatment and rehabilitation services to support recovery and return to normal life. Private hospital claims are subject to PERKESO’s specific rules and approval.
Funeral Benefit: Up to RM3,000
RM3,000 may be paid to an eligible widow, widower, child, mother or father if the employee dies from a covered non-employment accident or while receiving periodic Permanent Disablement Benefit.
If there is no eligible heir, the person who paid the funeral expenses may claim the actual amount incurred, supported by receipts, up to RM3,000.
